Test and Standards
Colan determines requirements not stated by the customer but necessary for specified or intended use, statutory and regulatory requirements related to the product and any additional requirements determined by the organisation.

Any additional test requirements shall be determined by the organisation based on a customer’s request. At Colan manufactured and finished products and made to their own specifications and testing, which meets any special requirements such as Army, Navy, Fire Department and the Building Industry.

Standard batch routine testing includes basic physical textile testings for mass (g/ms²) width, ends per inch, picks per inch and thickness. It also includes moisture content and ignition loss tests on DNV type approved fabrics plus some styles that are specified for these tests.
