Road transport adopted GRP construction in the 1970’s. Refrigerated semi-trailer manufacturers quickly learnt the benefits of using Fibreglass panels over traditional alternatives. Fibreglass construction quickly spread to other components of road transport including truck cabin, buses and rail.

Our commitment to the transport industry is reflected in our manufacturing capacity. We have a number of machines capable of producing fabrics up to 3000 mm wide.  This allows manufacturers of large composite panels used for transport construction, an easy single-layer solution for their production.

We’ve supplied many fabric types in this industry. At the beginning Woven Roving fabrics were the preferred fabric and still are for many customers. In the late 1990’s multiaxial gained popularity among manufacturers and more recently our range of infusion mat is a popular choice.
