Colan's Biaxial fabric is a two (2) layer fabric consisting of fibreglass rovings laid down parallel in the 0° and 90° axes. This modern-day woven roving replacement is used in many general laminate applications. The flat, crimp free nature of stitched fabrics provides improved directional modulus, strength and higher reinforcement content. A lighter laminate for stiffness requirement can be achieved. Cosmetic finish is improved by avoiding the undulating weave pattern associated with woven roving laminates.
